- Larisa Sitar graduated from the Department of Dynamic Image and Photography of The National University of Arts, Bucharest in 2008. In 2010 she received a Master's Degree from the same university. The images come from a digital archive that the British Library recently released into the public domain through Flickr Commons. The collection contains over 1,000,000 images from seventeenth-, eighteenth- and nineteenth-century books, with no known copyright restrictions, that have been scanned and made freely available for use and and re-purposing.” (Larisa Sitar)
